Individual elements of legal support:
If you would like legal support but want to keep your legal costs to a minimum, our Family Team offer the following individual elements of legal support. If you are conducting the majority of your divorce yourself, you can utilise these services for a fixed price, when you need them.

Full legal support in undefended divorce:
If you and your husband/wife agree to divorce and are in agreement as to how you shall deal with any children, assets and finances, you are able to commence undefended divorce/separation proceedings. This simply means you and your partner do not intend to dispute the divorce/separation or any aspects of it.

Divorce petitioner fixed-fee service includes:
- A first interview with initial advice and guidance
- Drafting the divorce petition and a statement relating to any children.
- Corresponding with you, the court and your ex-spouse
- Preparing the Affidavit in support of your Petition for divorce and asking the court for a Decree Nisi date
- Applying for the Decree Absolute of divorce
- Legal advice and guidance throughout
Divorce petitioner fixed-fee service does not include:
- Amending any papers after they have been issued. Any court fees other than the Court Petition fee (£340) and the Court Absolute fee (£45) – these are included in the above price
- Any costs involved in having to personally serve divorce papers if the other party does not acknowledge receiving them
- Dealing with a defended divorce
- Dealing with disputes concerning children or finances
- Any changes to court fees or the rate of VAT as set by the Government.

Divorce respondent service includes:
- A first interview with initial advice and guidance
- Completing the acknowledgement of the divorce petition
- Corresponding with you, the court and your husband/wife or their solicitors.
- Legal advice and guidance throughout
Divorce respondent fixed fee service does not include:
- Dealing with issues concerning children or finances
- Any fees of agents or experts
- Any changes to court fees or the rate of VAT as set by the Government
Separation agreements:

Separation agreement fixed-fee service includes:
- Initial interview with advice and guidance
- Preparing draft Separation Agreement
- Correspondence with you and your husband or wife’s solicitors.
Separation Agreement fixed-fee service does not include:
- Any experts fees that may be required (our solicitors will advise you from the outset as to whether these will be incurred)
- Any change in VAT as set by the Government
- Dealing with financial or children disputes or issues
