The level of compensation awarded within each bracket will depend on:
- The extent to which ankle movement is restricted as a result of the injury
- The effect of the injury on the individual’s personal/social life i.e. whether they have to stop playing active sports.
- The extent of any lasting pain or discomfort
- The extent of any disfigurement
