Our team of planning solicitors is led by David Whipps, Holmes & Hills’ Senior Partner, who is a Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute and who is also a member of the Law Society’s Planning Panel. David is closely supported by his team, Joanna Lilliott and Steven Hopkins. Jo gained over 15 years Planning law experience working in local authorities prior to joining the firm in 2004 and Steven, a partner in the firm, has over 7 years experience dealing with Planning and Property litigation.
Keeping clients up-to-date on planning law
Holmes & Hills’ planning solicitors hold an annual series of free seminars on important planning legislation affecting clients and any changes to this legislation. Last year’s series of six Planning Law Update seminars attracted 165 planning consultants, local authority planning officers, surveyors, architects and property consultants from across Essex and Suffolk.
