Ellie works alongside other members of the planning law team to provide advice to individuals, businesses, local authorities, and planning developers.
As a Trainee Solicitor in the Holmes & Hills' planning and development department, Ellie assists the specialist planning solicitors and senior members of the planning team with contentious planning and property litigation matters such as boundary disputes, planning permissions and certificates of lawfulness.
Ellie is friendly, proactive, and personable, always ensuring her clients feel welcome. She prides herself on always going above and beyond and aims to ensure she has exceeded on what her clients expect from her.
Having previously worked in a leading Barristers Chambers, Ellie built up some great networking skills which has helped her build repour with connections over the years. She enjoys meeting new people and building long lasting professional relationships.
Whilst at University, she was a Student Ambassador representing the university on open days/applicant days giving talks to prospective students about her journey into law. In her spare time, Ellie mentors students at University who are trying to secure a legal job or training contract by reviewing their CVs and helping them make successful applications.
Ellie joined Holmes & Hills in 2021 after achieving a First-Class Honours in her law degree. Ellie is based at Holmes & Hills Solicitors' regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Marks Tey, Colchester.
