Trainee Solicitor in Family Team

Mumba joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor in April 2018. Her first seat was in the Planning and Development team; where she dealt with various aspects of planning law and property litigation working under Steven Hopkins. She then undertook her second seat in the Corporate and Commercial team working under the Supervision of Rebecca Mason; working on various aspects of Commercial Property transactions. She is currently undertaking her final seat in the Family Law Department and is based in both the Sudbury and Braintree offices.

Prior to joining Holmes and Hills, Mumba undertook a Law degree at Northumbria University in Newcastle, before completing her Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Masters in Professional Legal Practice (LLM) at the University of law in London. She also gained prior experience in the areas of commercial debt, civil litigation and personal injury.

Outside of the office, Mumba loves to read, connect with people and is currently filming her own ‘made for television’ documentary- series called ‘Perspectives with Mumba’ where she explores various social topics and interviews individuals who are positive spheres of influence in their own communities.

The purpose of a Will is to clearly specify which assets should be left to which person upon your death and is designed to ensure that all parties follow your wishes.
