A recent Supreme Court judgment for employment law has strengthened protections for employees who make protected disclosures, otherwise known as whistleblowing.
Philippa joined Holmes & Hills’ growing team of commercial property solicitors in July 2014. She qualified as a solicitor in 1984 having studied at University College London and the College of Law at Guildford. After training in a London firm she worked first in Braintree and then in Sudbury.
Philippa has specialised in property matters for many years and in her position at Holmes & Hills focuses on commercial work to include the acquisition and disposal of both leasehold and freehold property, commercial landlord and tenant advice, commercial leases and property finance. Philippa is also recognised by the Legal 500 for her expertise.
Living in North Essex for many years has enabled Philippa to be involved in a wide range of local community matters. These include having been a governor of a local school, chair of the Town Team in Sudbury and a member of the Sudbury Chamber of Trade Executive Committee.
In her spare time Philippa enjoys yoga, playing tennis and is a member of her local book club.
