Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2003 having studied law at the University of Cambridge and the College of Law in London. After training and working at City firm Slaughter and May in both London and Paris, she went on to work as Senior Counsel to a US listed manufacturing company based in Brussels. Rachel returned to East Anglia in 2014 to work initially in Sudbury and joined Holmes & Hills as a Company and Commercial lawyer in September 2016, based in Braintree.

Rachel advises business clients on all aspects of Company and Commercial law. She has a wide range of experience including advising clients on share and asset acquisitions and disposals, drafting shareholder and partnership agreements, reviewing and revising terms and conditions and commercial contracts and advising on corporate governance and directors duties. Rachel enjoys working for a wide variety of clients, from owner managed businesses to larger corporations, trade associations and charities. Rachel is committed to understanding her clients’ business needs and delivering high quality and timely advice.

In her spare time Rachel is a governor of a Sudbury primary school, and is learning to play the guitar. She also enjoys swimming and sings in a local choir.
