As a trainee solicitor in Holmes & Hills Solicitors’ Legal 500 recommended Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury Department, Sophie assists Senior Associate, Anna Watson on:

• Liaising with clients, counsel, Defendant representatives and medical experts
• Medico-legal research
• Drafting documentation
• Arranging and attending conferences with counsel and medical experts

Sophie works with individuals and families who have suffered injury as a result of clinical negligence, providing empathetic and understanding support during what can be a difficult time.

Sophie takes an approachable, personable and proactive approach when supporting clients. She communicates clearly and concisely, keeping clients updated on their case and explaining each stage in an accessible way.

She is dedicated to developing her knowledge in this specialist area and draws on the guidance of the wider Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury team to ensure clients receive careful, informed support.

Sophie joined Holmes & Hills in September 2026 in the firms largest trainee intake, and is based at the firm's regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Colchester (Marks Tey).
