Human Resources Coordinator

You will be working as an integral part of the HR team and will provide high quality HR administrative support to ensure successful delivery of the HR function.  This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking for the next step in their HR career in a busy, varied and people focused administrative role.

The day to day

Your day to day work will include:

  • Payroll, Pension and Benefits administration including:
    • Logging salary changes, one-off payments or deductions
    • Setting up new starters on the payroll, pension and benefits platforms
    • Coordinating the firms benefit and pension communications
    • Calculating payments e.g sick pay, etc
    • Producing payroll, pension and benefit reports as required.
  • Administering the documentation in support of the employee life cycle including  (New joiner, employment changes, family leave,  absence management and leaver administration).
  •  Supporting the HR Managers with coordinating meetings (or taking the meetings) in relation to the employee life cycle.
  • Supporting the HR Managers with absence management across the firm.
  • Coordinating the performance review process and administration.
  • Managing existing HR records and maintaining accurate and up to date employee data on the HRIS (currently Breathe HR).  Producing reports as required.
  • Coordinating legal, business skills and internal know how training including booking and logging training keeping a costs spreadsheet updated and ensuring employees log training as required.
  • Supporting the HR Managers with Employee Relation issues including formal meeting note taking .
  • Act as a first line responder for basic employee queries/ requests and escalating to the HR Managers as required.
  • Providing holiday cover for the HR Assistant and Central Services Supervisor.

What experience do I need?

We are looking for a professional and motivated individual who has previous HR and/or payroll experience and is able to demonstrate previous client/customer focused.  Experience of using HRIS or other databases would be an advantage as would being able to demonstrate you are competent with sensitive information  and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

What skills should I have?

You should also have the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and IT literacy skills
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Be willing to be flexible
  • Be highly organised and able to manage priorities effectively
  • Confident communicator
