We are looking for a leasehold enfranchisement solicitor to support the strategic growth of Holmes & Hills’ leasehold property service offering.
The successful candidate will focus on providing services to leaseholders and freeholders nationally, covering all aspects of leasehold enfranchisement including non-statutory lease extensions, statutory lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, freehold disposals and Deeds of Variation.
You will have a proven track record in delivering strategic, pragmatic, proactive and expert legal advice and services. You will be experienced in managing your own caseload of leasehold enfranchisement matters and these may be part of a wider case load comprising commercial or residential property matters.
As the firm continues to grow, the successful candidate will be keen to build their personal reputation as a leasehold enfranchisement specialist in the region and nationally, alongside that of the firm’s reputation.
The successful candidate will be at least three years qualified and have at least three years’ experience in handling leasehold enfranchisement matters (potentially as part of mixed case load of property matters). Experience dealing with contentious elements of leasehold enfranchisement and making applications to Tribunal will be considered advantageous but is not essential.
This role would suit an ambitious professional who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to play a key role in developing an important strategic service area for the business, nationally. You should have the ability to manage your own caseload but there are experienced team members who you will be able to learn from and who will provide specialist support.
A competitive salary which will be subject to previous experience, as well as a modern and agile working environment at the firm’s brand new regional head office, the A12 Commercial Hub, at Marks Tey, Colchester. The A12 commercial Hub offers colleagues free parking, agile working space, and easy access by road (being based on J25 of the A12) or train (500m from Marks Tey train station). You will be based alongside Holmes & Hills’ other leasehold enfranchisement specialist, the wider Commercial Property Team and the firm’s Head of Residential Property.
