The Residential Fee Earners role

Our Conveyancing Team is expanding and we are looking for Residential/Property Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers to join our fantastic team.  We have roles available within all our office locations.

General Conveyancers will handle an extensive and varied caseload that will encompass the full spectrum of conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, re-mortgages on freehold and leasehold property, lease extensions and Transfer of Equities (with matters covering Transfer of Part, small development sales and £1m + properties to candidates wanting this experience) . 

You will have a proven track record in delivering high quality conveyancing work under minimal supervision.

Our employees are encouraged to be involved in business development and marketing, so the successful candidate must be commercially aware and possess excellent relationship building and communication skills.

What experience do I need?

The roles available will therefore suit candidates 3yrs +PQE in residential conveyancing or property and for the more experienced roles candidates with 6yrs +PQE in residential conveyancing or property.

In addition  experience of dealing with new build, help to buy schemes, transfers of equity, right to buy and shared ownership transactions would be helpful.

Candidates will be looking for the opportunity to grow and develop their career and have a proven track record in delivering high quality conveyancing work under minimal supervision.

The right candidates will have excellent client care skills and be able to take a flexible approach to meeting clients’ expectations of client contact.

For our more experienced roles candidates should be confident and competent in technical aspects of Residential Property and Land Law and not just the process itself.  Candidates should also have proven knowledge of trust matters and their impact on residential property transactions.
