We are currently not accepting any more applications for trainee solicitors intake 2022 and 2023.
If you are interested in applying for 2023 or 2024 please do email careers (careers@Holmes-Hills.co.uk.) and we will notify you once applications are open.
In this role you will undertake a two-year period of recognised training (this period will be longer if you are undertaking a part-time training contract alongside completing your LPC). During this time, you will develop skills and experience, drafting, legal research, interviewing clients, negotiating, business development and much more.
You will rotate seats throughout your contract every six months, experiencing at least three areas of law, as well as contentious and non-contentious work. Depending on which seats you take you will also be encouraged to have worked in two or more of our offices. To ensure you flourish in the role, we will provide you with regular supervision, feedback and support, enabling you to shape and grow your career at the firm.
The areas of law you may experience are Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Property, Family and Relationships, Employment Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Planning Law, Probate and Estate Administration (including Wills and Trusts) and Residential Property.
During your contract we will ask you to nominate which seats would like to experience, but this will be dependent on business needs. We aim for your final seat to be the seat you qualify into.
It is desirable that you will have passed your LPC or have completed your core modules before joining us as a Trainee. We have had trainees who are studying their LPC alongside their training contracts and this is something that we will for the right candidate consider.
To find out more please do take a look at the below documents. Also please do reach out and we can organise a call to discuss who we are, the opportunities our trainees have and what our application process looks like.
