Two of six Planning Law Update 2018 events fully booked

Over 400 property, development, land and planning professionals are booked to attend the 2018 series of Planning Law Updates.

Holmes & Hills Solicitors’ Planning & Development Team will once again be delivering an update on the latest and most relevant change in Planning legislation, practice and case law. To be led by Steven Hopkins, Head of the team of specialist Planning Law solicitors, the annual series of events is the largest of its kind in the region and is in its 9th year.

Such is the popularity of the annual series of events with professionals and clients across the region, over 400 developers, surveyors, land and property agents, consultants, planning consultants and local authority planning personnel have booked to attend. Unfortunately, two of the events, those taking place at The Ickworth Hotel, Bury St Edmunds (25th September) and Ipswich – for local authority planning personnel – (26th September) are already fully booked.

The Planning Law Updates taking place at Colchester United’s stadium (26th September) and that for the private sector at Hylands House (2nd October) have a very small number of spaces remaining at each.

Planning Law solicitors from Holmes & Hills will be discussing:

  • Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) – when the liability for payments arises
  • The application of NPPF paragraph 55 – development in the countryside
  • Town & Country Planning (Pre-commencement Conditions) Regulations 2018
  • Case law update

Delegates will be invited to pout questions to the speakers, or raise these on a one-to-one basis following the talks over canapés and refreshments.
