After completing her first seat within the Construction team, Fiona has returned to Holmes & Hills' Legal 500 recommended Construction Department for the final seat of her training. She is currently being mentored by senior members of the team on a variety of contentious and non-contentious disputes.
Within her first seat, Fiona assisted on an adjudication concerning a contract for renovation works to a high value property in Central London. The matter involved non-payment of a notified sum, defects and a dispute over practical completion. Fiona also assisted on a further adjudication, a mediation and provided training to clients.

Prior to joining Holmes & Hills Solicitors, Fiona achieved a first-class honours degree in LLB Law at Staffordshire University. She then completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) combined with a Master of Laws (LLM) at Birmingham City University, achieving a distinction. Fiona has previous experience working in Family Law, with a focus on legal aid and domestic abuse cases, as well as residential conveyancing and shared ownership transactions.
Fiona joined Holmes & Hills in 2024, and is based at the firm's regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Colchester.
