Fiona is a solicitor in Holmes & Hills’ Legal 500-recommended Construction Department, advising contractors, sub-contractors and other construction professionals on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Fiona has been involved in a number of complex and time-sensitive adjudications. Her recent experience includes an adjudication arising from the termination of a contractor for default, involving claims for rectification costs and loss of profit. She has also assisted with a series of adjudications involving a major national housebuilder.
During her training, Fiona assisted on an adjudication concerning the renovation of a high-value property in Central London. The dispute involved non-payment of a notified sum, alleged defects and the date of practical completion. She has also gained experience of mediation and complex litigation and has helped deliver training to construction clients. Fiona prides herself on her approachable, personable and proactive manner. She communicates advice clearly and concisely and focuses on providing pragmatic solutions that reflect her clients’ wider commercial objectives.
