Nathan deals with costs after a claim has been settled. His work involves negotiating the costs incurred in large and complex medical negligence and personal injury claims.
As a Legal Costs Draftsman in Holmes & Hills Solicitors’ Legal 500 recommended Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury Department, Nathan focuses on complex multi-track claims.
Nathan joined Holmes & Hills in September 2018 taking on the role of in-house costs draftsman for the clinical negligence and personal injury team. He has gained experience through working for a regional law firm for 4 years, dealing with a broad range of issues Claimant Costs – Fast Track Personal Injury / Clinical Negligence & Housing Disputes, Draft Bills of Costs for assessment, and undertaking negations and settlements.
In addition, Nathan gained further experience in a leading London costs consultancy for two years where he dealt with Complex Multi-Track clinical negligence cases, legal aid immigration claims, and Court of Protection Matters. This meant he undertook all aspects of Claimant costs from Bill drafting, Budget preparation / updating to attending CCMC and finalising settlements.
Nathan studied Business and Law at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge for three years.
Nathan is based at Holmes & Hills Solicitors' regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Colchester (Marks Tey).
