On 20th – 22nd September 2019, 11 members of the Holmes & Hills team, accompanied by a friend of the firm, and 6 support staff, will take on Oxfam’s Trailwalker 2019 to raise vital funds for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.
Rachel joined Holmes and Hills from another regional firm in November 2018.
Having studied at Kingston University and the College of Law in Chester, she trained at firms in the City of London and Norfolk prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 1996 and has worked in East Anglia ever since.
Rachel has specialised in dispute resolution throughout her career, and advises upon contentious probate, contractual and professional negligence disputes as well as claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and general civil litigation matters. She is known for her friendly, personable and empathetic manner and prides herself in building a strong rapport with her clients.
Rachel has served on trustee boards of local Citizens’ Advice Bureaux, and is a co-chairperson of the Eastgate Ward Community Association in her hometown of Bury St Edmunds.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys travelling, cooking, attending live music events and exploring the local area, especially the Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines.
Rachel is based at Holmes and Hills Solicitors in Sudbury, but services clients at all of Holmes and Hills’ offices.
