Holmes & Hills announces new 14,000 sq ft A12 Commercial Hub office

Holmes & Hills Solicitors has announced it has taken a 15 year lease and made a substantial investment in opening its A12 Commercial Hub at J25 of the A12. Mark Cornell, Managing Partner comments:

I am pleased to announce that in pursuit of the firm’s continued growth strategy, Holmes & Hills has agreed a 15-year lease on the premises that was previously the Food Company, in Marks Tey, Colchester. The building is nearing completion and the A12 Commercial Hub office will open in October.

We are thrilled by the opportunity this building offers us. We believe the location to be second to none in the region, just off junction 25 of the A12 and 400 metres from the Marks Tey railway station. The position of Holmes & Hills’ new A12 Commercial Hub, which will become the firm’s regional head office, makes our solicitors readily accessible to clients and professional contacts across the region.

The building itself is spacious, unique in style and at 14,000 sq.ft provides for social distancing and ample space for our already growing teams, as well as huge scope for further growth. The firm is about to embark on an ambitious recruitment campaign.

Clients, professional contacts and colleagues will be able to avoid town centre traffic and will arrive at our office to find ample on-site parking and a modern, agile and welcoming environment. With a dedicated coffee lounge providing for informal meetings and a large agile working space for collaborative working among colleagues, the A12 Commercial Hub provides the type of working environment that is required by any modern and growing business at the current time.

We have worked with a firm of specialist interior architects, Mansfield Monk, to achieve a modern, agile working environment for colleagues, as well as welcoming, comfortable and impressive meeting spaces for clients and visitors, ranging from informal to formal.

All of Holmes & Hills Solicitors’ existing town centre offices will remain unaffected by the opening of the A12 Commercial Hub, with these town centre offices continuing to offer the full range of services to individuals and families who wish to continue being serviced from a location more local to them.

Following the opening of Holmes & Hills’ A12 Commercial Hub, Holmes & Hills will be operating from six locations across Essex and Suffolk and have over 140 staff providing services to businesses, local authorities, individuals and families across East Anglia.
