Senior Chartered Legal Executive in Private Client Team

Andrew qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1983 and joined Holmes & Hills in 2011 after working at a number of law firms in London and more recently, Essex. Andrew has over 30 years experience specialising in probate and inheritance tax, including landed estates, heritage property and cross border estates. Andrew is also experienced in the administration of estates, including, in particular, the taxation of Estates in the course of administration.

As a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and former Chairman of the UK Probate & Estates Committee, Andrew is also the firm's trust specialist. Andrew can advise on all aspects of the drafting and administration of trusts, including the inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax consequences. Andrew currently sits as a Member of the UK Probate & Estates Committee Disciplinary Panel.

Away from the office Andrew enjoys watching rugby and can often be found at his local North Essex golf course.
