Chrissie works alongside senior members of the Construction Team in servicing construction companies, to provide advice on construction contracts and construction contract disputes.
As a Trainee Solicitor in the Holmes & Hills' Construction Team, Chrissie works with contractors and sub-contractors, as well as contract and project managers, to ensure clients’ commercial interests are protected when entering, exiting or disputing construction contracts. As well as assisting in the above areas, Chrissie has led her own matters including a ‘Smash & Grab Adjudication’ whereby she successfully recovered monies owed to a client in a payment dispute.
Chrissie’s commitment and work ethic has led to some outstanding academic achievements which are already leaving a mark on the Construction Team and an impression on clients. Her skills are helping her to support Sam and Lawrence in the delivery of effective, efficient, and proactive litigation services whilst continuously developing her practical and strategic understanding of the construction litigation process working alongside these senior team members as well as dealing directly with clients and solicitors acting for the other side.
Chrissie joined Holmes & Hills in 2021. She is working alongside studying for her LPC qualification, having previously achieved a first degree, a master’s degree, and a graduate diploma in law (GDL) with Distinction. Chrissie is based at Holmes & Hills Solicitors' regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Colchester (Marks Tey).
