Elizabeth Whybrew

As a trainee solicitor in Holmes & Hills’ Legal 500 recommended Construction Department, Elizabeth works on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Elizabeth works alongside the firm's senior construction solicitors, supporting in advising clients on matters including:

• Assisting with the drafting, reviewing and negotiating of construction contracts.
• Assisting with construction disputes including adjudications, payment disputes, defects and complex litigation.

Elizabeth prides herself on her personable and proactive approach, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide pragmatic solutions throughout the course of a matter.

Prior to commencing her training contract, Elizabeth worked as a paralegal at a disputes law firm in London. Elizabeth has recently completed the Legal Practice Course with a Masters Award, achieving a distinction.

Elizabeth joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors in 2025, and is based at Holmes & Hills Solicitors' regional head office - the A12 Commercial Hub in Colchester (Marks Tey).
