Phil Davies

Phil is a Partner at Holmes & Hills and is responsible for facilitating its continued profitable and sustainable growth in key strategic areas. Phil works alongside executives and business unit leaders to capitalise on strategic opportunities through implementation of devised strategies.

During his time at Holmes & Hills, Phil has introduced a new specialist brand for the firm's national Clinical Negligence department; worked with the Planning & Development Team to reposition themselves and their service offering in the marketplace - now recognised as being one of the leading teams of Planning Law solicitors in the country; overseen the marketing involved in launching four new offices across Essex and Suffolk; as well as reviewed and implemented new pricing structures and assisted in re-designing services, amongst other activities.

Phil recently completed studying at the University of Cambridge, partaking in the prestigious Executive MBA course alongside a cohort of international senior business executives, graduating with Distinction and receiving the Director's Award for highest overall marks. Phil is now studying towards the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Certificate in Business Accounting and Diploma in Management Accounting.

Phil joined Holmes & Hills in 2010 in a newly created role after graduating from university with a degree in Business Management. During his time with the firm Phil has already studied with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, acquiring the Professional Diploma in Marketing. Phil was promoted to Associate in 2016 and then to Partner in 2017, aged just 28.

Phil is based at Holmes & Hills Solicitors' regional Head Office - the A12 Commercial Hub - in Marks Tey, Colchester.
