Seray Caglayan

Seray is a solicitor in the firm’s Land and Development Division (a specialist group of land development solicitors within the wider Legal 500 recommended Commercial Property Department at Holmes & Hills Solicitors).

Primarily advising the firm's landowner, developer, and investor clients, Seray advises on matters such as:

• Sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold)
• Option Agreements
• Promotion Agreements
• Finance (self-build finance, development finance and legal charges)
• Exclusivity Agreements
• Deeds of Covenant and Deeds of Release for Overage
• Deeds of Easement and Release

Some of Seray’s recent work highlights include:

• Assisting a developer in connection with development finance and mezzanine funding with an overall value of £6.1million.
• Acting for an investor client in connection with a purchase of a leisure park with deferred consideration.
• Collaborating with senior members of the Land and Development Division in advising on a land purchase for £2.5million with assisted funding.

Seray qualified as a solicitor in December 2023 and has experience in commercial property and land and development matters. Seray prides herself on her approachable, personable and proactive approach. She adopts a commercial approach in able to understand her clients’ business and tailors her advice according to her clients unique situation, resulting in excellent trust and rapport with her clients.
