Jen’s clients span a number of business sectors including retail, hospitality, professional services, light industry, agriculture, investment funds, charities, and local authorities, assisting with their commercial property strategies and legal needs.
As a specialist commercial property solicitor in Holmes & Hills' Legal 500 recommended Commercial Property Department, Jen’s expertise and experience lie in the acquisition and disposal of leasehold and freehold commercial property – including plots of land. Jen also advises and negotiates leases on behalf of landlords and tenants and advises on the assignment and underletting of leases, and negotiation of easements, wayleaves, and telecoms.
Jen takes the time to understand the commercial context and strategic decisions behind her clients’ transactions, enabling her to provide specialist advice, tailored to the requirements of the business. Jen also understands the importance of proactive communication, ensuring she explains the legal issues surrounding each transaction in a clear and concise manner to enable her clients to make the best possible commercial decisions.
Jen joined Holmes & Hills in November 2020 having gained comprehensive experience in both regional and city-based law firms as well as previously working in-house at a large regional charity. Jen is based at the firm's A12 Commercial Hub in Colchester (Marks Tey) but services clients across the region.
