Holmes & Hills announces 2022 promotions

Holmes & Hills Solicitors is pleased to announce the promotions of Beth Greig, Natalie Stoter, and David Sodimu. As of 1st May 2022, associate, Beth Greig is promoted to partner, and both, senior solicitor, Natalie Stoter and solicitor, David Sodimu become associates.

Beth Greig promoted to Partner

Beth Greig, a highly experienced residential property solicitor joined Holmes & Hills as head of the Residential Property Team in February 2020 in what turned out to be a pivotal time, particularly in the world of conveyancing, as the pandemic hit. However, during this unprecedented time since joining the firm, Beth has not only led the large Holmes & Hills Residential Property Team through two Stamp Duty holidays and navigated the changes that the pandemic brought to the conveyancing process but has grown the team dramatically. Beth’s promotion to partner is in recognition of the formidable job she has done in leading the Residential Property Team in the last two years.

Natalie Stoter promoted to Associate

Natalie Stoter, who joined Holmes & Hills in 2019 as an experienced corporate and commercial solicitor, added considerable experience and expertise to Holmes & Hills’ commercial service offering. Natalie has been promoted to associate. In her time with the firm, Natalie has and continues to build the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Team, with Steven Crossman and Katherine Waumsley having joined the team in June 2021 and July 2021 respectively. In September 2022, the Corporate and Commercial Department will grow further as Sophie Perry, trainee solicitor, qualifies into the team.

Natalie works with a wide range of commercial clients across East Anglia and advises business owners and senior leadership teams on a broad range of commercial matters. Natalie also boasts specialist experience in corporate tax issues. As of May, Natalie will lead the soon-to-be four-strong team of corporate and commercial solicitors at Holmes & Hills.

David Sodimu

David Sodimu promoted to Associate

David Sodimu who has been with the firm since 2016 joins Natalie and others as an Associate. David joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors as a trainee solicitor and undertook his training contract with the firm’s Dispute Resolution Division and Planning and Development Department. David’s promotion to associate demonstrates the clear path of career progression available and the firm’s commitment to supporting their own as Holmes & Hills grows. As David becomes an associate, he is leading the charge in developing the firm’s specialism in property litigation matters, including contentious residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters, as well as boundary disputes, adverse possession claims, and a myriad of other contentious property issues. David is supported by solicitor, Aimee Phillips.  

Commenting on the promotions, Steven Hopkins, joint managing partner at Holmes & Hills said, “I am very pleased to be able to welcome Beth Greig as a new partner of the firm. She has shown huge commitment and tenacity in building and navigating the Residential Property Team through a difficult time.”
