Isabella Herne

As a trainee solicitor in Holmes & Hills Solicitors’ Legal 500 recommended Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury Department, Isabella assists Legal Director, Zoe Diss and the wider Clinical Negligence team with supporting clients that have received negligent care from a medical professional that has caused them pain, suffering and losses.

Isabella specifically supports the senior members of the Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury Department with: 

• Liaising with clients, counsel, Defendant representatives and medical experts 
• Medico-legal research 
• Drafting documentation 
• Arranging and attending conferences with counsel and medical experts 

Isabella takes a friendly, approachable and empathetic approach, helping clients feel listened to, supported and clearly informed during what can be a difficult time.

Isabella worked at Holmes and Hills Solicitors in the New Build Department for one year prior to beginning her training contract in September 2026. Isabella is based at the firm's regional head office in Colchester (Marks Tey).
