Susana is a CPO and DCO Paralegal in Holmes & Hills' Compulsory Purchase and Development Consent Division, within Holmes & Hills Solicitors' wider Planning Law Department.
As a paralegal in the Compulsory Purchase and Development Consent Division, Susana helps to advise landowners and local authority clients on their statutory rights and entitlements. Alongside specialist solicitors in the area of Compulsory Purchase Orders, DCO, and blight - Michael Harman and Catherine Hibbert - Susana helps to secure the maximum legal and statutory entitlement, walking them through what can be a complicated, emotional, and lengthy process.
Susana will support the wider Division in obtaining the property title and scheme information as well as liaising with clients, their professional advisors, and the statutory or acquiring authority. Furthermore, Susana collates and files submissions in respect of CPO and DCO schemes.
Susana ensures she listens and understands her client’s issues and concerns. Susana prides herself on responding to clients in an efficient and timely manner.
Susana joined Holmes & Hills as a part of the Central Services Department in 2022 and moved to the Compulsory Purchase and Development Consent Division in 2023.
Susana is based at Holmes & Hills regional head office – the A12 Commercial Hub – in Colchester (Marks Tey).
