Sian prides herself on her effective communication skills with her clients, yet she also takes an empathetic approach to her client’s situations, as she understands that moving home can be an incredibly stressful time in any individual’s life.
Before joining Holmes & Hills Solicitors, Sian worked for an Estate Agent for 6 years, so is extremely well-versed in the intricacies of property transactions.
Sian joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors in 2019, and is based at the firm’s Tiptree office.
Shirin is a trainee solicitor in Holmes & Hills’ Private Client Department, currently being mentored by Associate Jessica Newton and solicitor Emma Faulkner.
Shirin advises clients on matters such as making or updating a Will, establishing Lasting Powers of Attorney, and supporting clients with any additional issues that may arise as a result of a bereavement.
Shirin takes a friendly and empathetic approach to ensure she provides logical and pragmatic advice to her clients.
Shirin joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors towards the end of 2022 as a business support administrator and has since progressed to start her training contract. She is based at both the firm’s Tiptree and Witham offices.

Jessica takes a friendly and professional approach when dealing with her clients. She understands that beginning these proceedings can often be daunting, but can guide clients through the process by translating complicated legal jargon into easier to understand terms.
Jessica graduated from the University of Portsmouth with first class honours in 2016 and completed her Masters in Professional Legal Practice in 2017. She is also a member of STEP- a global professional body comprising a range of practitioners that help families plan for their futures.
Jessica joined Holmes & Hills in 2024 and will be working in both the Tiptree office and the Coggeshall office.
Claire works with individuals, couples, and families in order to provide a complete and thorough residential conveyancing experience for those buying, selling, or re-mortgaging property.

Claire has a friendly nature; she is efficient and has a calm and patient manner when supporting clients when buying a house or selling their home. She prides herself on building a strong relationship with clients, being able to guide and reassure them throughout the often-stressful conveyancing process, as well as being easily accessible by phone and email providing for a quick turnaround time in responding to her clients’ questions.
In particular, Claire enjoys working with first-time buyers and helping them achieve their goal of owning their first home.
Claire has worked in the conveyancing field for over 5 years and is currently a Residential Conveyancing Associate of CILEX, and is studying to become a CILEX Lawyer. Claire joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors in 2022 and works across the firm's Colchester (Marks Tey) and Tiptree offices.

Alexander has a great foundation of knowledge having previous experience working in the Conveyancing and Private Client fields of law, which provides him with a broader understanding of how these areas of law intertwine. This greatly assists him in being able to provide advice to his clients which takes into consideration the potential consequences of clients’ circumstances on property, estate, and other interests, alongside addressing the immediate familial situation.
Alexander joined Holmes and Hills Solicitors in January 2022 having worked in Family Law for nearly a decade. In his spare time, he has also worked as a Legal Advisor at the Law Clinic for the Citizens Advice Bureau.
